The floor provides optimum camera pedestal performance.
The floor is perfect for Multi Camera use. A camera can be used anywhere on the floor making it ideal for multiple sets.
The floor is free of undulations, inclines and surface irregularities. These details are of no consequence on most floors, but totally unacceptable in a modern HD television studio. Tough wearing surface designed to withstand the range of use expected of a modern HD studio facility. Nil maintenance as Pinewood have found to their delight.

Fire Lanes were installed and numerals and notches for ease of reference when setting out in the studio.
Background
Following the success of our Universal Television Studio Floor which we installed for Pinewood Television in TV2 in June 2009 and to ensure that they have the best facilities to offer their clients, Pinewood chose Elgood Flooring to replace the floor in TV1.
Finishing on time first time and to multi camera standard was critical with a new production due in the week after completion.
We were pleased to continue our association with Pinewood.
